(re)birth is an album dedicated to the initiation of matrescence. When we prepare to give birth, not only are our bodies creating and birthing life, but we as wombyn are deeply reborn as well. The family constellation forever changes with the new baby’s entrance, and who we are as wombyn and mothers radically shifts. The gift of the life we birth transforms us in unfathomable ways, beyond our understanding. It extends so far beyond that which we have control over. Our creations are creators themselves.
Whether preparing to conceive and birth a human or another creative expression, this album was designed to call in guidance, support and blessings to your birthing journey.
Katie offers two types of sound healing offerings.
Somatic Shamanic Sound Journeys
In these offerings, Katie will guide you on a multi-sensory journey where connecting deeply to your body creates the foundation for connecting with Spirit. She combines her deep reverence for earth based spirituality with her expertise in the somatic healing arts to facilitate a supportive exploration into your own sacred heart.
Ignatian Contemplation Sound Journeys
Katie is the sonic sound weaver, and her husband Matthew Demarchi is the Ignatian Contemplation guide. Together they will lull you into a deep state of connection and receptivity with yourself and the Holy Spirit.
Katie Demarchi is a certified yoga instructor and sound healing practitioner who has a deep reverence for the realm of voice and song. This passion was ignited over 15 years ago when channeling songs became her preferred coping tool for processing life’s events. Since then, there is hardly a moment when Katie is not singing. From channeling medicine songs to serve as a healing salve for challenging emotional tide pools to channeling the sound prayers of the forest and flowers, Katie’s passion for vocal alchemy runs deep.
As she began awakening to her passion for song and sound 15 years ago, she also began exploring the psychic and astrological arts at this time as well. Over the past decade and a half, she has studied and practiced these arts, refining them into an integrated offering.
